Sunday, December 2, 2018 Western Challenge Report from Ron:
No racing today. Several boats went out and did a few HOT laps. The snowdrifts hardened up over night and the wind was blowing well into the 30s We packed up and are on our way home. A lot of fun to go out and sail but close quarters of racing at that speed could have been a little dicey. Good decision. Fantastic weekend of racing and catching up with friends. Ran at least 15 two lap races Friday and changed boats with several sailors and helped tune many more.
This is the best regatta of the year. And, no collisions.
